I complain a lot about human beings and their knuckleheaded opinions, but sometimes I am reminded that people are capable of doing good things when they get motivated in the right direction.

Pictured above we have two boys collecting rubber to aid the war effort during World War 2, and those two boys weren’t the only ones, almost everyone was pitching in.

When terrorists attacked the World Trade Center buildings, thousands responded and 343 New York firefighters who responded died.

More recently, a researcher became critically ill over 3,000 feet down in a cave in Turkey. Hundreds voluntarily responded to stabilize the man and then to pull him out.

Proposed: Let’s not let any pessimism about human nature dominate our thinking. Most people are good! Salute!
